The FBSTIBI is a non-profit, faith-based, private religious Bible institution. In our Adult Postsecondary-Higher Biblical Education Program, we offer full-time Hybrid- Online Biblical Education Courses during the year and Residency face-to-face courses during the Summer, month of July at the Waycross, Georgia’s campus.
We are a diverse spiritual community, whereby we seek to ensure an effective, safe learning environment. We promote and stimulate an environment where all students and leaders are in a supportive learning environment. We grow together spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally. We are one people with one mind, with one goal, and with one purpose. We aim to extend Biblical Education to every local FBC Church, to every District Official, to every Diocese Official, to all the Clergy Leaders, to Pastors and members: in Ghana, in Uganda, in Kenya, and in Nigeria. Our students enter to learn and depart to serve global communities.
Our mission is to adhere to Jesus’s final command, “Go ye therefore and teach all nations”(KJV., Matthew 28:19). Our mission is to equip the people of God to do the work of the ministry (KJV., Ephesians 4: 4-18). Our mission is to provide instructional teachings for students to know and understand God’s Call in order to answer that Call. Our mission is to provide effective Leadership and Training courses to perfect that Call.
Our mission is to invoke the Father of glory to give unto our students the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation Knowledge of Him. That the eyes of their understanding may be enlightened that they may know the hope of His Calling. Our mission is to provide instructional courses on essential topics that Jesus gave gifts to mankind. “Some Apostles, some Prophets, some Evangelists, some Pastors, and some Teachers for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the Body of Christ…” (KJV., Ephesians 4:12).
Our mission is to aid students in knowing their Spiritual Gifts and to encourage them to operate in their gifts as the Holy Ghost gave in the book of 1 Corinthians 12: 1-1 and assigned them to the Church in 1 Corinthian 12:24-30. Thus, our mission is to ensure all the members at large to understand that the time has come for us to finish the unfinished works of Jesus Christ.
Our core values are deeply ingrained in the Biblical principles, teachings, and doctrines determined by God’s infallible Word and the First Born Church Organization’s Constitution. As a Team, we embrace a rigorous, joyous, culturally relevant environment to grow spiritually, grounded in the theology of Ephesians 1:9; “where God has abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence to unfold the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He hath purposed in Himself. That we may comprehend with all the people to know what is the breadth, the length, the depth, and the height to grow together spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally.
We believe that all people are created equal. We believe that adults are capable of learning. We believe learning is a constructive process. We believe adult students should be given challenging tasks to stimulate learning, but not impossible tasks that would lead to frustration. We believe a safe learning environment will cultivate and produce the ground works for wisdom to bring forth knowledge to understand. We believe humanistic approaches are concepts for developing, motivating, and producing effective substantial learning gains.
